45' Morganti blows his whistle to bring an end to the first half festivities with Juventus two goals to the good. Grygera has carried the team on his back in the first half with a sensational goal to open the scoring and then went on a beautiful solo run to set up Trezeguet's goal which gave them a two goal cushion that they take into the halftime interval.
43' It's Camoranesi's turn to be booked as he commits two fouls in quick succession and tests Morganti's patience in the process. Juventus are playing keep away to play out the remaining few minutes of the first half.

24' Trezeguet latches onto a loose ball and tries his luck from 30 yards but his shot is deflected and rolls harmlessly into the arms of Scarpi.
23' The match has slowed down to snails pace due to a rash of fouls by both teams. The intensity has certainly picked up in the last few minutes as play is halted for Zanetti who is clutching his ankle and that sends Tiago up off the bench and into his warmups on the touchline.
