46' The second half is underway at the San Siro with the three points still very much up for grabs. Inter had three clear cut chances to score in the first forty five minutes but the crossbar and the heroics of Buffon have kept the match scoreless.

Ibrahimovic and Chiellini clash as the Juventus defender stays on the ground for a moment as he shakes off the cobwebs from that challenge. It has been an evenly matched first half with chances for both sides.
37' Grygera finds Salihamidzic who lays it off for Camoranesi whose shot is charged down by Maxwell. OH!!! Del Piero whips the ball back across the face of goal but Trezeguet cannot get onto the end of his pass!

Jimenez's delivery is headed out by Chiellini just a split second before Ibrahimovic was about to pounce on the ball. Cruz goes into Farina's book as he hacks Nedved down.
27' Farina halts the action as Legrotagglie picked up a knock and is down injured. The intensity is starting to pick up as Sissoko hacks Zanetti down from behind and is lucky not to have been booked.
25' Sissoko swings the ball out wide to Salihamidzic who lays it off for Del Piero who cuts inside but his shot is blocked by Stankovic. Molinaro receives the first yellow card of the match as he drags down Cruz in the center circle.

23' Del Piero finds Nedved in stride and he is taken down by Maicon and this is definitely in Del Piero's range. He decides to swing in a cross that is headed away by Materazzi who is back from serving a suspension.
21' Inter are starting to push forward and take control of the match as Ibrahimovic beats Chiellini but Legrotagglie makes a vital tackle. Legrotagglie takes down Maicon and concedes a free kick but Chivu's delivery doesn't make it past the first defender and the chance is wasted.
19' Cruz is chopped down by Chiellini and wins his side a free kick.OH!!!! Jimenez's delivery is met by Burdisso who misses an open net and the ball squirts to Stankovic who sends his header crashing against the crossbar!!!! Inter go close to taking the lead!!!
17' Great play by Cruz as he pushes the ball past Chiellini but cannot keep the ball in play. Sissoko finds Molinaro who puts his head down and charges down the left flank but Cruz tracks back and breaks up the play.
15' Chivu is brought down and wins a free kick. Jimenez stands over the ball and whips in a cross that only needed the slightest of touches to beat Buffon!!! It has been a positive start by both teams as they are really going after it in the early going.
13' Trezeguet finds some space on the edge of the area and he sends a weak shot that rolls wide of the far post. He ruffled some feathers in the Inter camp when he stated that he would rather have Roma win the scudetto.
